How does the Connexity Merchant Listings Service work?
Connexity’s Merchant Listings Service allows you to promote your products in the relevant categories and is the easiest and most cost effective way to reach targeted buyers. Remember, there are no set up fees and your initial deposit will be applied against your Cost-Per-Click (CPC) redirects. Our program offers an easy and effective way to reach high-quality shoppers, while allowing you to carefully manage your ROI (Return on Investment). You pay for customer leads on a cost-per-click (CPC) basis and can place CPC bids down to the SKU level.
How do I submit an application for a new store?
To participate in CPC Marketplace, Paid Search Managed Services, and Bizrate Insights sign up here: http://account.connexity.com/oa/registration/index.xpml. It is free to open an account and there are no set-up fees.
How will you get my product listings?
Connexity is a shopping search engine that allows shoppers to compare stores, products and prices. This is accomplished by displaying complete product information from all stores listed in any given search result. To accomplish this, merchants must submit their product information to Connexity in the form of a product feed. Click Here for our complete Data Feed Specifications.
Based upon the products in your feed, Connexity places your products in relevant “subcategories”. An example of a category is Appliances, and examples of subcategories would be refrigerators, food processors, and microwaves. Click here to see a complete list of the subcategories included on our site. Instead of bidding for placement on keywords, Connexity merchants place CPC (cost-per-click) bids for an entire subcategory. You can also place a bid at the individual product level. Products without an individual bid will be charged the Subcategory Bid rate.
What is Smart Pricing?
Smart Pricing is a system where CPC charges are calculated based on performance and not priced at a predetermined CPC rate. This flexible pricing model allows Connexity to acquire better sources of traffic. All traffic is not created equal; adjusting CPC by traffic source lets us pay more for the best traffic and less for sources converting at a lower rate, resulting in better conversion and higher sales volume.

How do I know what to bid?
Connexity bids can be placed at a Single Rate or a Targeted Bid amount. We suggest using a combination of both methods to fully optimize your campaign.
Single Rate Bids
- Enter $4 as a placeholder bid
- Gain access to the highest quality traffic
- Let us optimize all bids for you based on category level cost of sale goals
- Post our free Performance Tracker to optimize towards your cost of sale goal
- Single Rate Average CPC rates are generally in the $0.25 to $0.75 range
- Single Rate Bids are fully optimized and may be billed less than a Targeted Bid

Target Bids (NOTICE EFF 6/14/2016: We have changed the bidding requirements for Target Bids!)
- Enter a Target Bid amount as low as $0.05
- Use Target Bids to lower placement for lower converting items
- Individual clicks are Smart Priced, therefore the CPC will vary for each click
- Lower bids may receive fewer clicks
- Your CPC charges may be higher (or lower) than the Target Bid amount
How is the CPC rate determined?
Each category has a specific cost of sale goal in our system. Using data collected through our performance tracker we analyze sales revenue by traffic source and adjust the CPCs higher or lower with the aim of meeting a Cost of Sale goal.
What are the Minimum CPC Rates?
Connexity uses a Smart Pricing system where your CPC is automatically adjusted based on traffic quality. This allows us to send the best quality leads by adjusting your bid for both higher and lower converting traffic. Target Bids can be placed in any amount starting at $0.05. Our Smart Pricing System will adjust CPC higher or lower for individual clicks by traffic quality. With our Single Rate Bid, you enter a placeholder bid of $4 and we fully optimize each individual click down based on the quality of the lead. The higher your bid the higher your traffic volume and using Single Rate Bids gives you exposure to the entire Connexity network.

How are my products ranked in your search engine?
Product exposure and placement in search results is determined by the amount of your CPC bid. Bid of $4 or more will ensure that you receive the highest volume of quality leads to your site.

Fund Your Account
Once you have registered for an account you can make a credit card deposit here. Connexity offers 3 payment plans; Continuous, Monthly Budget and One-Time Payment. The minimum deposit is $100 and there are no set up or listing fees. All funds deposited will go towards CPC leads to your website.
Submit your Data Feed
Connexity accepts .txt files in a variety of formats including Google and Pricegrabber feeds. Click Here for our complete Data Feed Specifications. When you’re ready to submit the file you can set up your delivery here: https://account.connexity.com/ra/inventory/feed/display.xpml.
Subcategory Bids are entered through the Connexity Merchant Interface are used for any products that do not have Product bids. You can enter a Target Bid or a Single Rate bid on any subcategory in any combination. If a Subcategory Bid is not entered it will default to our minimum $4 Single Rate bid.
